This page lists the various fees and charges which may apply to your child. Some fees only apply to particular subjects being studied. STUDENT LEVY ($150) ALL STUDENTS - YEARS 7 to 12 For 2009 the School Council has decided the Student Levy will remain at $150 Per Student. This payment should be made at the General Office as soon as possible. Families receiving a full Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) for a child will not have to pay the Student Levy for that child because the Government automatically pays the College $150 on their behalf. EMA Application forms will be distributed early in Term 1, 2008. TEXTBOOKS and EQUIPMENT COSTS - There is a booklist for all year levels The booklist for students in Years 7 to 10 includes books in core subjects only. The core subjects are:
The College provides resources in other subjects as well as additional resources in the core subjects. Students in Years 9 & 10 are also required to have a Scientific Calculator (Casio FX100S or FX82S available through the college Bookstore). ** Second-hand books may be available, later in the year. There is also a charge for: A Music Recorder ($7) plus a Music Book ($1.75). There will be a $15 charge (per semester) to cover all Physical Education Excursions for students in Years 7 to 10. A $10 charge to cover Intra-School Sports (Swimming / Athletics) applies.
Students at all year levels will be provided with a free Student Diary. STATIONERY PACKS - $32 Stationery can be ordered via the Booklist in December. Stationery Requirements:
** Stationery items may be purchased elsewhere. LOCKER PADLOCK - $13 All students requiring a locker must have a College padlock (for security reasons). Our padlocks are high quality, very secure, combination locks which become the student’s own property. Other padlocks are generally not permissible. Padlocks may be purchased via the Booklist or from the college Bookstore. YEAR 7 CAMPS at BROOMFIELD - $65 (Payable prior to going on Camp) These 3-day camps, for one class at a time, are a most important part of adjusting to secondary school and it is hoped that all year 7 students will attend. The camps are held from mid-February. Broomfield is near Ballarat. STUDENT I.D. CARDS - $3 All students are required to purchase an I.D. Card. |
