Years 9 and 10 study a core and elective curriculum.

At these middle school years important preparations begin for selecting a career.

Students may go out on up to two weeks of work experience after consultation with parents and teachers.

As well, students choose three electives per semester or half year, each for 4 periods per week. Some electives may be repeated.

* Some Year 10 students undertake a V.C.E. subject in place of an elective.
