Years 9 and 10 study a core and elective curriculum.

At these middle school years important preparations begin for selecting a career.

Students may go out on up to two weeks of work experience after consultation with parents and teachers.


English or E.S.L. 5 periods per week
Mathematics 5 periods per week
Science 4 periods per week
History and Geography 4 periods per week

As well, students choose three electives per semester or half year, each for 4 periods per week.
Some electives may be repeated.
 
* Some Year 10 students undertake a V.C.E. subject in place of an elective.
