ANNUAL HOUSE AWARDS

The Annual House Awards were held on Thursday 1st of December to acknowledge and congratulate our students’ accomplishments. With major disruptions over the last two years we have been unable to formally commemorate students for their efforts. Howver this year we finally could celebrate together.

The Braybrook College staff, students and parents were excited to be part of the awards ceremony. Our Year 7 to 10 students eagerly awaited the presentation of awards to recognise Co-curriculum achievements throughout the year. There were 4 trophies awarded to the House Champions. House Champions are students that have excelled in Co-curriculum activities and events throughout the year, earning the most points for their House.

Four students from each House were awarded medals for being the highest point scorers. Our Swimming and Athletics carnivals were also celebrated with Gryphon taking out the Swimming and Centaur House proving too strong in the Athletics Carnival. Aside from the winners for those days, all students did a fantastic job by participating and reflecting the values of Braybrook College. As well as House Awards, Sports Awards recognising outstanding sporting achievements were presented along with certificates for our SRC representatives. It was Centaur House that was the overall winner of the House Points Tally Shield making them the Champion House of 2022. Well done to all students who participated in the Co-curriculum program in 2022, earning valuable points for their House and in the process equipping themselves with a host of valuable skills that will hold them in good stead for future years to come. The Co-curriculum program will continue to offer numerous opportunities for our students in the coming years. Thank you to all the staff, students, House Leaders and House Captains who made the program the success it was this year.
