PREMIER’S VCE AWARDS

For consecutive years now, we have had multiple students receive a Premier’s VCE Award. This means that they were the top achievers in the state in their subject area.

On the 17th of July, I attended the Premier’s VCE Awards with a few hundred other students who had achieved top marks last year to receive an award for my results in Psychology. Although it was, of course, reassuring to think that my hard work had paid off, the highlight of the whole day was being able to represent my school, especially when many of the students were from private schools from the East, and my teacher Ms Cook, who was the main reason for my success and who was also able to attend. It was even better to have two people from Braybrook College there with Ryan Pham receiving an award for his high score in VET Laboratory Skills and Rose Mary Lynn an award in Chin Hakha. I loved Psychology and the opportunity to do it early, and thoroughly enjoyed working with my friend who also got a 50 for the subject. I am very grateful to be given this award and to everybody who helped me achieve my study score!
