During Years 9 and 10, students study a selection of CORE and ELECTIVE subjects. There is an extensive list of electives from which students must choose three per semester.

Electives include: Accounting, Advanced Science – Chemistry & Physics / Biology & Psychology, Art, Environmental Studies, Career Education, Ceramics, Community Action, Creative Writing, Design & Technology – Wood, Digital Art, Engineering Maths, Fashion Illustration, Forensic Science, Health and Human Development, Home Economics, I.C.T, Intro to Commerce, Keyboarding and Office Skills, Vietnamese, Law, Literature, Media Studies, Movies – Mind and Meaning, Music, Performance Drama, PE and Health, Rock and Water, Sport, Textiles, Visual Communication and Design, Rugby Education.

During Year 10, and after consultation with parents and teachers, students may undertake a 2 week work experience placement. This is one of many important tools the college uses to assist students in considering their future careers and study opportunities.
