In addition to the formally timetabled classroom Music Program, all students have the opportunity to learn a band instrument with lessons provided by specialist instrumental music teachers. The bands and groups perform regularly. Lessons are free and instruments can be hired from the college at very reasonable rates. Lessons are offered for the following instruments:
Participating students are expected to play with the Year 7 Beginner Band, the Year 8 Junior Band or the Year 9-12 Concert Band. Each group gives performances in and outside the school.
