There are many Student Leadership opportunities at Braybrook College, and all are well supported by students and staff. Some of these opportunities include:LOL (Leaders of Leadership) GroupThis group is made up of students whose primary responsibility is to foster student connectedness with the College. They meet once a week and are responsible for organising events for all year levels, such as Fright Nights, Trivia Nights, Pancake Days, Movie Nights, The Links (soccer) Program, and many others. They represent the College at Youth Forums, parent evenings and VIP visits, and work very closely with the Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator when organising the College’s Annual Awards and Year 12 Graduation evenings.SRC (Student Representative Council)The SRC is an active body in the school involving students from all year levels. Their responsibilities include providing a student voice, organising social events, fundraising activities, improving student facilities and engendering an inclusive school culture.Peer Support ProgramDuring Semester 1, Year 11 students run weekly Peer Support classes with their Year 7 groups. The sessions are designed to make the transition into secondary school smoother for Year 7 students by developing their assertiveness, decision making and communication skills. This gives Senior students real-life responsibilities for caring and leading others. It helps develop their communication and leadership skills, along with other practical and personal skills needed for their futures.
