The boys dominated the group stage with strong wins against Kew High School (3-1), Sirius College (2-1), Hume Central Secondary College (4-2), and Lyndale College (1-0). In the semi-final, they outclassed Sunbury College with a commanding 5-1 win. The final was a rematch against Sirius College, where our team delivered another outstanding performance to seal the championship with a 3-1 victory.
A big thank you to all the players from both teams. The team now qualifies for the Australasian Champion of Champions tournament later this year. Congratulations!
Braybrook College is thrilled to announce that two of our talented students, Jonathan Galvan and Jason Lam, have been selected to represent Australia in the 2025 V-Sport Cup – an international futsal tournament held in Barcelona, Spain.
Jonathan and Jason will be travelling from Friday 21 June to Sunday 7 July, where they will compete against teams from across Europe and gain invaluable international experience. The tour also includes training sessions, friendly matches and opportunities to explore the rich culture and history of Spain.
This is a remarkable achievement and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for both boys to develop their sporting skills on the world stage. On behalf of the entire Braybrook College community, we congratulate Jonathan and Jason on their selection and wish them the very best of luck for a successful and memorable trip!
