Students at this level are expected to do approximately 1 hour of homework and 20 minutes of reading, every day. 

Homework may consists of:

•  Completing unfinished classwork

•  Completing specific set homework

•  Completing assignment work and practical projects

•  Reading specific notes or books

•  Completing drawings 

•  Reading the class novel

•  Revising classwork

•  Completing evaluations

 

When a student does not have homework, it is important that they engage in some form of learning related activity. This can include independent reading, drawing practice; practice of stitchery or recipes; practice of instrument or song; watching the news or current affairs programs; viewing documentaries on history or science for example; practising pronunciation of words; tidying notebooks etc.
