On the 5th of July, I had the honour of attending the 2024 Premier’s VCE Awards, which recognise students for outstanding achievement in their VCE studies. I was proud to receive an award for VCE VET Community Services, a subject I thoroughly enjoyed and was fortunate to accelerate in.
It was a memorable experience meeting the Deputy Premier of Victoria and Education Minister, Ben Carroll, and celebrating with high-achieving students from across the state. I’m incredibly grateful to my Community Services teacher, Ms Archer for her support and guidance, and to my parents for always encouraging me to do my best.
Receiving this award is a reminder that hard work truly pays off and I’m thankful for the opportunity to be recognised in this way.
