Refocus Day commenced with the annual Steps to Success program, where our generous alumni return to Braybrook College to share their experiences and provide valuable insights into the journey that awaits students beyond secondary school. Through their reflections, alumni highlighted the importance of drive, building networks, developing strong social skills and remaining adaptable in an ever-changing world. Their advice and personal experiences provided our current cohort with valuable perspectives as they begin to consider their future pathways. Students then participated in an Elevate Education exam preparation session, gaining practical strategies to support their final assessments. The morning concluded with our Careers Team preparing students for the VTAC application process, ensuring they are ready to navigate the next steps towards their chosen pathways.
It was a highly successful day, with students now equipped with the knowledge and motivation to approach their final semester with determination. Special thanks to our Academic Advisor, Hamid Diab, for liaising with our alumni and assisting with the organisation of the day.
