On Wednesday 5th August, 276 students proudly represented Braybrook College in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC), the largest mathematics competition of its kind in the world. The AMC challenges students to apply their mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills through a range of engaging questions, with participants from across Australia and many other countries.
We are incredibly proud of every student who chose to take on this challenge. Participating in the AMC demonstrates curiosity, resilience and a willingness to challenge yourself beyond the classroom. Regardless of the results, every participant should be proud of their effort and commitment.
Students will receive certificates based on their level of achievement: Participation, Proficiency, Credit, Distinction, High Distinction and Prize.
Congratulations to all of our participants, and we wish them the very best when the results are released!
