VCE and VET


Successful completion of the VCE may lead to a variety of future options including employment and/or further study at TAFE or University.  It is important that before committing to a particular course, students and parents receive sound careers advice.  The college has implemented the Victorian Careers Curriculum Framework.  All students will participate in Careers related activities.

VCE VET  (Vocational Education and Training) 

VCE VET programs are VET qualifications approved by the VCAA following consultation with schools, industry and training providers.   They lead to nationally recognised qualifications and provide an opportunity for students to receive credit towards their VCE, VCE VM or VPC. 

 

Automotive

 

Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation AUR20720: this program is delivered through Ripponlea RTO 21230.   Students undertake training at Kangan Institute.   

 

Community Services  

 

Certificate III in Community Services CHC32015: this program is delivered through Ripponlea RTO 21230.
Students undertake training at Braybrook College. First Aid training will be delivered by Premium Health RTO 104032.  

 

Furnishing

 

Certificate II in Furniture Making Pathways MSF20516: this program is delivered through AIET RTO 121314

Students undertake training at Braybrook College.

 

Hospitality

 

Certificate II in Hospitality SIT20316: this program is delivered through William Angliss Institute RTO 3045.  Students undertake training at William Angliss Institute. 

 

Sport, Aquatics and Recreation
Certificate III in Sport, Aquaticsand Recreation SIS30122: this program is delivered through Saville RTO 45452.   Students undertake training at Braybrook College.   

 

Laboratory Skills

Certificate III in Laboratory Skills MSL30122: this program is delivered through AIET RTO 121314.  Students undertake training at Braybrook College.

 

Music

 

Certificate III in Music CUA30920 (Sound Production Specialisation): this program is delivered through Cosamp RTO 41549.  Students undertake training at Braybrook College. 

 

For all VCE VET Programs please note:

 

Upon satisfactory completion of all units of a VCE VET course a student may attain a national qualification.  Where a student satisfactorily meets all requirements of the course, a Certificate may be awarded.  Where a student meets the requirements of Units, a Statement of Attainment may be awarded.
