Term 4 Arrangements
TERM 4 RETURN TO ONSITE SCHOOLING
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
I hope your week is coming to a good end.
I would like to share the following communications regarding the return to onsite schooling for Term 4.
Commencing Monday 12th October,
All Year 7, 11 and 12 students
will return to full-time onsite schooling and follow the normal timetable
For Weeks 2 and 3,
10VCAL
students will attend onsite classes on Wednesdays and Fridays only (and follow their normal timetable). They will then return to full-time schooling from Monday 26
th
October
For Weeks 2 and 3,
101 Legal Studies, 101 Psychology and 101 Community Services classes
will attend onsite for these classes on Tuesdays (as per their normal timetable). These students will then return to full-time schooling from Monday 26
th
October
Year 8, 9 and 10 students
(except those listed above and a small number of ‘vulnerable’ students or children of essential workers) will continue with Remote Teaching and Learning until Monday 26
th
October when they will return to full-time onsite schooling
October Tests
will be held onsite on Saturday 17
th
October – Monday 19
th
October
On Monday 19
th
October, all Year 12 VCE classes will be cancelled, including VET.
However, ALL Year 11 classes will run as normal
In other announcements:
All students are expected to attend onsite once their year level has returned to onsite learning, except for medically vulnerable students, with complex medical needs who seek an exemption from their medical practitioner
Please keep in mind that schools are not expected to provide Remote and Flexible learning support where parents or carers of students elect to keep their child at home, except where this is based on medical advice
Temperature screening is no longer required
Masks are the
only
permitted form of face covering (no scarves or bandanas). Students must wear face masks at school and when travelling to and from school
Until further notice, VCE students will not be permitted to leave the school grounds for lunch or other purposes, unless they have finished classes for the day
The Canteen will re-open on Monday 12
th
October and students are encouraged to order their lunch
The Uniform Shop will be open on Tuesday 13
th
October, from 3.00-4.00pm. Families can also purchase uniform items online:
www.dcsuniforms.com.au
Parents/Carers are NOT to congregate/gather outside the school as they drop off and pick up their children
Until further notice, parents/carers are advised to minimise onsite visits and MUST wear a mask at all times
