One of the exciting things about Term 3 at Braybrook College is the Year 10 work experience program. This year we had well over two hundred students complete work experience at a diverse range of workplaces including cabinet making, retail, real estate, automotive, childcare, hospitality, finance, law, veterinarian services and medical services. Two very lucky students (Sarah Mohamed 10E and Marietta Giradi 10J), even had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during his visit to the Sunshine Urgent Care Clinic on Ballarat Road, through their work experience placements at Daniel Mulino and Alice Jordan-Baird’s electoral offices. A big thank you to all the parents and family members who helped the students find their placements and complete the required paperwork. A big thank you also to the employers who gave students the opportunity to learn about an industry and learn about the skills and attributes needed to succeed at work. Finally, thank you to Saia Iatrou, Rowena Archer, Natasha Latin and Danielle Davenport from the Careers team for their hard work in making it all happen.
